The SM48 is a rugged, affordable handheld dynamic microphone designed primarily for vocals and speech. Its cardioid pickup pattern helps reject sound from behind the microphone, while its robust construction makes it well suited to general rental, rehearsal and live-event use. It requires no phantom power and uses a standard XLR connection.
